The Bone Ninja application, developed by orthopedic surgeons Dr. Shawn Standard and Dr. John Herzenberg—specialists in limb deformity correction—serves as an educational platform for analyzing long bone deformities. The app includes a library of radiographs depicting both normal and deformed legs, enabling users to review pre-loaded cases or upload their own images for analysis. Following the examination, users can utilize the cut-out tool to experiment with various osteotomy solutions, with suggested corrections available for comparison.

Bone Ninja provides a set of tools for drawing lines, measuring angles and lengths, and calibrating magnification levels, facilitating precise analysis. Its cutting feature allows manipulation of bone fragments to simulate different correction strategies, accommodating both single and multilevel deformities. The analysis methodology aligns with principles taught at the annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Course (BLDC), now in its 22nd year (DeformityCourse.com).
